Steam wishlist estimator
Paste a Steam store page, yours or any other, and get the game’s public follower count and the wishlist range it implies. Wishlists are private to the developer; followers are public and track them closely. It is an estimate.
Example: a game with 5,000 followers
- Low (7 per follower)
- 35,000
- Typical (12 per follower)
- 60,000
- High (20 per follower)
- 100,000
Steam’s public figures only. Nothing about you is stored; the server reads each store page at most once a day.
How the estimate works
Followers are the members of the game’s Steam community group, which Steam publishes. In a June 2023 survey of 125+ developers by GameDiscoverCo, games had a median of about 12 wishlists per follower, most between 7 and 20. The estimator multiplies today’s follower count by 7, 12 and 20.
The ratio is for games before launch. After release, wishlists turn into purchases and the ratio drifts, so treat a released game’s range as rough. Your own exact wishlists are in Steamworks; the Flockbay app reads them on your own Steamworks key, on your own computer.
