Steam tag lookup for comparable games

Paste the Steam store pages of two to five games like yours. You get the tags they share, ranked, and the tags only one of them uses. Players apply Steam tags, so the shared ones are how players already file games like yours.

What you get

  1. Shared tagsTags two or more of the games carry, most-shared first.
  2. WeightWithin a tie, the tag that takes the larger share of each game’s tag votes ranks higher.
  3. Tags only one game usesWhere a comparable differs, which may be where yours can too.

Steam’s public data only. Nothing about you is stored.

How the ranking is made

Each store page lists up to 20 tags with the number of players who applied each. For each game, a tag’s weight is its share of that game’s tag votes; a shared tag’s weight is the sum across the games that carry it. Tags are ranked by how many games use them, then by weight. Use the shared tags your game genuinely has in your top five; Steam uses tags to place a game in Discovery Queues and More Like This.
