A pine and a snow tree are a season, not a duplicate

Nature Kit supplies most of these: blocks of foliage, dark and autumn variants, cones, a default tree, tall ones, crooked ones. Survival Kit, Castle Kit, Fantasy Town, Platformer Kit, Marble Kit and Retro Urban add their own, usually a large and a small and a trunk. Holiday Kit adds decorated trees and snow trees, which are Christmas even when the filename is only “snow”. City Kit Suburban has a street tree. Coaster Kit and Toy Car Kit have a couple that are set dressing for a park and a track. One hundred and fourteen models whose only shared promise is that the name starts with tree.

An open-world survival craft wants the nature-kit pines as a forest the player walks into. A walking simulator wants fewer trees and more of a path between them. A street wants the suburban tree and nothing from the holiday pack. The survival landing page and the walking-sim page are those briefs. The genre guide lists them apart. The rocks at their feet are the rock page. The whole outdoor shelf is the nature collection.

Scale is the first change, and it is not optional. A marble-kit tree, a nature-kit pine and a toy-car-kit tree in one forest are three scales pretending to be one species. Pick Nature Kit if the player is walking, and delete the rest from the scene. The second change is season. Autumn, default and snow are three dates. A forest with all three is a collage. The bare trunk is a fallen tree or a stump, and one of those is a landmark. Ten of them is a logging site, which is a fine game if you meant it.

Ask Flockbay, from the survival template, to stand three Nature Kit trees — one tall, one default, one crooked — around a clearing, with a rock, and to leave the snow trees and the street trees out. Walk into the clearing in Play and look up. If the canopy is a ceiling you cannot see sky through, you asked for too many, or they are scaled like buildings. Say which. Kenney’s trees are CC0. The holiday tree belongs in front of the cabin, in December, on purpose.
