A boulder is doing the job a tree cannot

Nature Kit is the bulk of this page: large rocks lettered out, small rocks, flat ones, tall ones. They are the scatter that makes a forest floor stop looking like a board. Survival Kit, Pirate Kit, Holiday Kit, Castle Kit, Graveyard Kit, Space Kit and a few mini packs add their own, and they are not the same rock. A castle rock is masonry-adjacent. A space rock is a moon. A holiday rock is part of a snow scene. A pirate rock is a shore. Drop all of them in one clearing and the clearing becomes a geology museum.

The game that needs the nature-kit boulders is an open-world survival craft, where the rock is cover, a landmark and a place to put the camp. The survival landing page says the land is authored even when the systems are not. The genre guide files that under survival. The trees those rocks should sit among are the tree page. Both are inside the nature collection, which also has the cliffs the rocks fell off.

Change the count before you change the shape. Three sizes of one family — a large, a small, a flat — make a patch of ground. Thirty rocks of every pack make noise. The flat ones are for paths and for sitting. The tall ones are for blocking a sight line, which is the useful kind of rock in a stealth or a horror approach, and useless if you sprinkle them evenly. Space Kit’s rocks stay on the moon. They will not pass as forest stone.

Ask Flockbay, from the open-world survival template, to scatter three Nature Kit rocks — one large, one small, one flat — beside a tree, and to keep the space and castle rocks out of the forest. Walk around them in Play. If the large one is smaller than the player, the kit’s “large” was not scaled to the body, and you say so with the player’s height as the measure. Kenney’s rocks are CC0.
