What a template gives you
Each template is a starting brief for one kind of game: the core loop that defines it, the first playable to build, and what usually comes next.
In the Flockbay app, the AI builds from that brief and asks you what makes your version different. You still decide everything that makes the game yours.
How to choose one
Pick the genre closest to what you want the player to do most. The genre pages below list every template under them, with the games that define each one.
If you are not sure, start with the simplest one that has the loop you want. A small version you finish teaches more than a large one you abandon.
