Building sandbox template
Break, pick up, place, and the shape is the point. Minecraft (Mojang, 2011) adds a night so the hole has a reason. Terraria (Re-Logic, 2011) does it from the side, as a ladder of ore. Dragon Quest Builders 2 (Square Enix and Omega Force, 2018) gives the shape a request from a villager. You can ignore the request until placing a block feels different from dropping an item.
