Godot plugin in Flockbay
Phantom Camera
Phantom Camera is a camera plugin for Godot 4, and Flockbay includes it so camera behaviour can be set up in your project.
What it is
Phantom Camera is a Godot 4 addon for common camera behaviour, inspired by Unity's Cinemachine. It works with 2D and 3D cameras in Godot 4.4 and later.
It has a priority system for which camera is active, follow modes such as glued, framed, path and third person, look-at modes in 3D, zoom in 2D, smooth transitions between cameras, and a viewfinder in the editor.

What Flockbay does with it
Flockbay copies Phantom Camera into your project so a camera host and virtual cameras can exist when a game needs them.
Adding it does not change your camera on its own: it does not create shots or replace a first-person view. It is there for the AI, or you, to use.
Facts about Phantom Camera were read from its repository on 26 September 2026.
