What the template starts with
The Undertale style template starts with one monster, a fight or mercy choice, and a dodge box for its attacks.
You can spare the monster by learning what it wants, and the game should remember if you did not. Undertale (Toby Fox, 2015) is that memory, not a damage race. One enemy, a talk, a spare, a fight you can also choose. 2D. A kill that the next room never mentions has deleted the style.
What to change first
