Buyer guide
What to look for in an AI game builder if you want a real PC game
The useful question is not whether an AI tool can make a quick demo. It is whether Director 1 can keep turning the idea into a real PC game.
Look for a game that keeps improving
A screenshot or exported bundle is not enough. A serious AI game builder should keep building the same game.
Look for a playable loop early
The first version should prove the core action. Can the player move, aim, jump, collect, survive, win, fail, or explore? A vague visual demo is weaker than a plain playable slice.
Look for honest boundaries
Preview is useful, but it should not be confused with every later claim. For a real PC game, the builder needs a path toward export and should be clear when a feature is not ready yet.
