How it works
Step 1
Pick Claude or ChatGPT
Pick Claude in the model menu and Flockbay runs Claude Code, Anthropic's coding agent, behind its own chat, on your Claude plan. Or sign in with ChatGPT and the same chat runs on your subscription. Flockbay's tools are connected from the first message.
Step 2
Build in the full Godot editor
The chat is a dock in Godot's own editor, beside the Scene dock, the Inspector, FileSystem and the Script editor. Your AI writes GDScript and scenes into the project and calls Flockbay's tools for terrain, water, sky, props and rigged 3D models.
Step 3
Playtest and ask for changes
Your AI runs the game, reads stdout and GDScript errors, captures the viewport and injects input events to check its work. You press F5, play it, and say what is not right yet.
What you get
Your plan, not a second one
Claude Pro or Max, or any ChatGPT plan, Free included. You pay Flockbay nothing for the AI.
No MCP config to write
Flockbay finds Claude Code or installs it the first time and hands it Flockbay's tools for each session. Your own Claude settings are never edited.
A real Godot project
Official Godot 4.7.2, not a fork. The game is a folder on your disk you can open in stock Godot, and an existing Godot project opens here too.
No Claude or ChatGPT account yet? Claude Pro includes Claude Code, and a free ChatGPT account includes Codex. You sign up on their site, then come back here: Claude's plans or ChatGPT's plans.
Frequently asked questions
- Is Flockbay free?
- Yes. The app is free, and the AI is the one you already pay for: your Claude plan or your ChatGPT plan in the app, your own agent over MCP, or your own API key. You pay Flockbay nothing for the AI.
- Which Claude and ChatGPT plans work?
- Claude Pro, Max, Team or Enterprise, which include Claude Code. Any ChatGPT plan, Free and Go included. A free Claude account does not build here.
- What does Flockbay see of my Claude account?
- Only what Claude Code reports when asked: whether you are signed in, as which account and on which plan. You sign in on Anthropic's own page, with the same sign-in your terminal uses, and Flockbay never reads or stores it. Your usage goes to Anthropic under your own account, and Flockbay pays for none of it.
- Is it a real Godot project?
- Yes. The engine is official Godot 4.7.2, bundled with the app, not a fork. The game is scenes, GDScript and a project.godot in a folder on your disk. An existing Godot project opens too: Flockbay asks once before adding anything, and Remove Flockbay from this project takes it all out.
- Do I own the games I make?
- Yes. Your game and its code are yours, saved on your own computer. Publish it yourself and we take 0% commission.
- Will it run on my computer?
- Windows 10 or later on a 64-bit Intel or AMD PC; Windows 11 is the version we test on. On a Mac, Apple Silicon with macOS 15 or later. On Linux, an x86_64 AppImage for Ubuntu 22.04, Debian 12, Fedora 39 or newer, with WebKitGTK 4.1 installed. On a Chromebook with an Intel or AMD processor, the same AppImage runs in ChromeOS’s Linux environment, and games use Godot’s Compatibility renderer there. You need an internet connection while you build, and the games you make run offline.
